Manmade structures that are possibly thousands of years old have been discovered off of Orkney in Scotland. These are the first definitively proven manmade structure found submerged anywhere in the UK. In general over the last few thousand years, Scotland's main land has been getting higher, while the islands around it have been sinking. This is a significant find for Atlantis Researchers who favor the British isles and the North Sea as locations for Atlantis, as submerged megalithic structures in this region is now proven.
