Atlantipedia's wiki is not an open project, like Wikipedia. But don't panic! We're doing this to prevent abuse, vandalism, bias and misinformation. All information submitted for inclusion in the wiki is first verified. This process can be speeded up enormously if you cite your references (including page numbers.) Of course it is impossible for the editors of the wiki to find every scrap of information on a particular subject. That's why additions are welcomed and encouraged. But to ensure thorough vetting of information it is reasonable for it to be considered before being included. The usual length of time between submitting information and having it included in the wiki is anywhere from a few hours to a couple of days. If you submit information for the wiki and it hasn't been included after 48 hours, contact Atlantipedia for an update. It is always possible we never received your contribution. If your contribution has been rejected, you are welcome to email us to discuss it. Generally information will only be rejected if a valid source for it cannot be found. |
